Refreshingly cool

About two months ago, my family and i went for a little trip to Sungai Tua (also known as Hulu Yam) in Gombak. We used to go to this place all the time when I was little. It has been awhile since but the place is kept well and it almost look like how it was 10 years ago. Here are some of the pictures that were taken that day.

My nephew, Arslan.

He's one year old, its his first time (:

(:
I just love watching clear glass water streaming down. Always fascinates me. (hehe -.-)

Arslan wondering seriously WHERE THE HECK DOES ALL THIS WATER COME FROM?!

INTENSE. (:P)

My cousins.
I love this picture of this three siblings, so sweet (:

Parents

Plus brother.
(Yes, i was basically the photographer of this trip)

Papa figuring how to join Abang (:P)

I miss playing with the sand when i was their age :')

Dont you just feel like jumping into the water?

No message could have been any clearer

Man In The Mirror

I think this song very well speaks for itself.

You came to me. MasyaAllah, now all I want is to be with You

You came to me in that hour of need
When I was so lost, so lonely
You came to me took my breath away
Showed me the right way, the way to lead

You filled my heart with love
Showed me the light above
Now all I want Is to be with you

You are my one true love
Taught me to never judge
Now all I want Is to be with you

Childhood

..Dont you wish you could just rewind back time when you are still a child and just cherish every moment?

Well, I do. I think I had a good childhood (:

..PICTURES!

I think this is when i first arrived home :D
I was very much welcomed by my Grandma, brother and (elder) sister.
My sister on the left doesnt look too excited though? Hehe :P

Papa and I

I was really close with my dad. I was pretty much Papa's little girl. (:

My pouting sister and I. She still does that too.

This is on my very First birthday! :D
I know you cant see my face but i still find this picture cute :p

My elder sister and I.
She's the one who taught me how to swim :')

On the swing at Grands' in Ipoh.
The swing still exists, it is still as yellow too :}

Family trip!
When I was younger, My family would often go on trip/vacation.
I think we've visit almost, if not all the state of the Peninsular 8)

This is my-dorky-self (while waiting for the bus to school) with bunnies (at the back, yes, they're chilling under the umbrella) :D
We used to have loads of bunnies. Started with three, but one died (RIP) then the two got busy. And i mean seriously busy. We had atleast half of a dozen bunnies after. But im sure it was more than that 0:)

With almost all of relatives from my dad's side.
Its the only picture I could find of my grands.
My grandfather is no longer with us and I dont have much or any memory of him, sadly. All i remember was he was always laying in bed and he gave some of the kids (my younger cousins) one ringgit coins. Or maybe it was just this one time and I remember it because I didnt get any :P Silly, I know. I was just a 10 year old child.

My family and my mum's sister's family (yes, my aunt basically -.-)
We were very close. We would go on vacation together, visit each other every other week. The closest family to mine (:

My cousin and I in Cameron Highland.
She's a year younger than me. We would always find silly things to play <:

My older sister and I.
I remember this day because of an incident that happened a few moments after the picture was taken. I was swimming my way (or more like flapping my arms and legs) to the other end of the pool. The float swimming ring/trainer was a little big and loose. On my half way through, I guess I was too excited, I flapped too high and I.. well lets just say that I didnt know the pool was THAT deep. I remember looking up and wondering how to get there. The next thing I knew, my head (yes, just my head) was being grabbed and pulled by my sister -.-'

My family in Tioman Island. I loved the place. I remember the clear sea water and how little fishes would swim by. And how tanned I was from playing so much under the sun.. :D

Good times, indeed :')

You'll find that life is still worthwhile if you just, Smile

Smile

Originated from Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times

I think this song speaks for itself. Honestly, I think if I were sad, I'll be sobbing if I hear this song, just because of its soft melody. After listening it on repeat for a few dozens of time in different versions, I say; Its an inspirational song, definitely the one that could make you feel better if you were having a rough day. It's truly beautiful.

Maybe if you take a second to realize the good things in life when you're sad or just unsatisfied, you'll find no reason to. So.. smile, why dont you? (:

Changeling

(Yes, i realize that this movie has been released 2 years ago)

The movie is about a woman (Christine Collins, portrait by Angelina Jolie) in the late 1920’s whose child has disappeared one afternoon. Months after the reported incident, the police returned a boy who they said was her son; Walter, but Christine alleged that the boy was not her son.

..What happened next? Well, you should watch the movie for yourself! Trust me, i wouldnt be able to fully describe the emotions that will be triggered.

Definitely a brilliant movie. I love Angelina Jolie. But the movie makes you want to slap some of the guys silly! HARD. Seriously, i feel like smacking them all. Well okay, only certain guys obviously.

Especially this guy right here.

The movie is based on a true story. Crikey, some people are just twisted, man. Poor kids.

The real Christine Collins / Angelina Jolie in the movie

The movie made me cry one or, two or, half of dozen times. Christine Collins was a brave woman. I think i would go crazy if i were her :| All and all, it is a fantastic movie. The ending wasnt as i hoped it would be, but they ended it well. I guess they didnt want to ruin it - a glimpse of hope is all you need. And guess what i found? The real Gordon Steward Northcott. Bloody sick creepy _. Do watch the movie, if you havent!

You may say Im a dreamer

Imagine

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

(Originally sung by John Lennon)

People are becoming more and more ignorant and selfish nowadays, random act of kindness is no longer common. So lets put aside our differences and just, imagine..
